About Anthony Boyle
The play was Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, but Scorpius Malfoy and the Stolen Show was a more fitting title. Anthony Boyle, the young Olivier Award-winning star playing Draco Malfoy’s son, was the name on everybody’s lips. He's in huge demand, playing a young Ian Paisley in The Journey and winning roles in Tolkien, GOT, Philip K Dicks Electric Dreams, Melrose and Come Home. True to his roots, he can be seen in Derry Girls, and also on HBO in The Plot Against America. You can see Anthony in Apple TV's Master of the Air, produced by Stephen Spielberg and Tom Hanks. He also stars as John Wilkes Booth in the TV miniseries Manhunt.

In only its third week of previews and HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD (featuring the brilliant Anthony Boyle) has set a new record at the Broadway box office for the highest single-week gross reported by a nonmusical in Broadway history.
Sales overshot the $2 million mark in its first full week of eight previews, and easily topped the previous all-time record for a play, which was the $1.6 million grossed by the final week of Bryan Cranston in “All the Way” in 2014.

Anthony Boyle will return as Scorpius Malfoy in the award winning play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Lyric Theatre in New York on Sunday 22nd April.
Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, is the eighth in the Harry Potter series and the first official Harry Potter tale to be presented on stage, bringing together some of the most exciting talent working in the theatre today.
The critically acclaimed play has won 22 major theatre awards in the UK and is the most-awarded production in the history of Britain’s prestigious Olivier Awards, winning a record-breaking nine awards last year including Best New Play and Best Supporting Actor for Anthony.
