The Uk premiere of Martin Sherman's 'Gently Down the Stream' has opened at London's Park Theatre. It stars HHUSH's own Harry Lawtey (The Country Wife, Chichester Festival Theatre).

"The play follows the remarkably moving and brilliantly funny love story of Beau, an older American pianist living in London, and Rufus, an eccentric young lawyer. Coming of age during the 70s, Beau’s attitude to love has been seasoned by a life of loving men in a world that initially refused to allow it. Not looking for a long-term relationship, Beau is naturally cautious when Rufus unexpectedly enters his world. 

However, while the age gap feels unorthodox to Beau, it is immaterial to Rufus, who is from a new generation of gay men. Rufus has none of Beau’s doubts about the possibility of attaining happiness and love in the 21st Century and as he assimilates himself into Beau’s past and present, Beau learns to embrace Rufus as one of the most defining relationships of his life.

Believe the hype; Charlie Brooker's latest installment in the Black Mirror franchise delivers every bit the punch in Netflix's "Black Mirror: Bandersnatch". Starring Will Poulter as leading computer game programmer 'Colin Ritman', "who is considered something of a legend" within the dystopian gaming world within which the story is set.

Bandersnatch opened to audiences worldwide at the end of last year and allowed viewers to choose how the story ends, but opting for different story lines in a virtual reality video game of their own.

Jez Butterworth's multi award winning play The Ferryman has now opened to audiences on Broadway, after a box office breaking run in the West End. 

The show which won Butterworth's Northern Irish drama the Olivier for Best New Play, stars our very own Niall Wright as well as other members of the original cast.

24: Legacy Raphael Acloque has been announced as one of the lead charaters in CBS’ drama pilot Surveillance.

The show has been described as a spy thriller "centered on the head of communications for the NSA (Bush), a charming operative who finds her loyalties torn between protecting the government’s secrets and her own".

Raphaelcan next be seen on the multi Emmy Award Winning series Spiral for Canal Plus. And he is currently filming HBO/Sky's Catherine The Great. 

Sophie Okonedo and Kyle Soller have both been nominated for their outstanding performances in this years ES Theatre Awards. Sophie; for her incredible portrayal of Cleopatra in National Theatre's Anthony and Cleopatra. And Kyle Soller for his groundbreaking performance in The Inheritance, Parts 1 & 2. 

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on 18^th November.

Countdown has begun for the epic release of Queen biopic; Bohemian Rhapsody. Starring the incredible and almost unrecognisable Gwilym Lee. Gwilym takes on the role of rock icon and National treasure; Brian May and we expect it to well and truly Rock You. 

The film will premiere on October 23rd at Wembley Arena in London, next to Wembley Stadium, where Queen performed during 1985 Live Aid. 

Robert Lindsay will once more tread the boards in Terrance Rattigan's play ; In Praise Of Love.

Good Behavior and Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery leads the Netflix original drama 'Godless'. Scheduled for release later in 2017, the mini-series also stars Jeff Bridges and Jack O'Connell and is set in the American West of the 1880s. Expect outlaws terrorising townsfolk in quiet towns, pistols and a whole lot of barren wild west.

Freya Mavor is the female lead in a biopic of football great Bert Trautmann. Set between 1949-1964, Freya plays the wife of  Trautmann, the prisoner-of-war-turned-Manchester City goalkeeper, a role taken by German actor David Kross. Her character is described by Deadline as a "loyal wife and anchor - a beautiful, youthful but strong-willed girl from Northern England".
