About Freya Mavor
Freya's scorching break out performance playing Mini McGuinness in E4's Skins was her first time ever on screen. Her performance in Sunshine On Leith with Peter Mullen was sunshine itself. She received rave reviews as a NY drug addict in Good Canary, directed by John Malkovich and played a young Charlotte Rampling in feature film The Sense of An Ending, as well as playing John Henshaw's daughter in The Keeper.

Freya Mavor is the female lead in a biopic of football great Bert Trautmann. Set between 1949-1964, Freya plays the wife of Trautmann, the prisoner-of-war-turned-Manchester City goalkeeper, a role taken by German actor David Kross. Her character is described by Deadline as a "loyal wife and anchor - a beautiful, youthful but strong-willed girl from Northern England".

The brand new HBO series, Industry, about young bankers and traders making their way in the financial world in the aftermath of the 2008 collapse, will be released some time this year, it has been announced. And it stars Hhush's Harry Lawtey, Freya Mavor, Sagar Radia and Priyanga Burford.
Lena Dunham joins the Industry team as executive producer, and the series will be shown on both BBC Two and HBO. There will be a total of eight episodes in the upcoming drama.
