ITV has announced plans to mark Black History Month with specially commissioned new shows and channel branding throughout October.

ITV will celebrate the contribution of black people to television, comedy, history and our wider culture in new programmes. One such programme, Sorry I Didn't Know, features Jimmy Akingbola as host. This 4 part comedy panel show, which was piloted in October 2016, tests the players' knowledge of untold stories and unsung heroes.

A co-production with Netflix, the series will premiere in the UK on BBC One and globally outside of the UK on Netflix.
