About Ruth Gemmell
Ruth is the voice of restrained cool with a husky note of temptation. Ruth played Sarah in ITV's Home Fires, a series with an astute combination of wartime feminism and nostalgic tale-telling which attracted audiences of more than 6M per episode. She was in Ransom and Penny Dreadful 1&2. Following on from her star turn as Lady Bridgerton in the hit Netflix series, Ruth can soon be seen in the upcoming prequel series Queen Charlotte.
