US channel Epix has cast Ben Alridge as co-lead Thomas Wayne in its Batman prequel Pennyworth. The 10 x 1 hour series follows the iconic butler Alfred Pennyworth (played by Jack Bannon) as he starts his own security company in London and finds an unusual business associate in American billionaire Wayne.

The series is set to premiere in the US on July 28 with a UK air date yet to be announced.

Aaron Pierre is to lead Barry Jenkin's The Underground Railroad. The upcoming Amazon series is based on the Colson Whitehead novel of the same name and Aaron will star in the role of Caesar. The project was first set up more than two years ago on the heels of Jenkins’ Oscar wins for the film Moonlight, with Amazon officially ordering it to series last June.

Jenkins will direct all 11 one-hour episodes of the show in what will be his first attempt at directing a TV series in its entirety.

The Keeper, a British-German biopic detailing the life of footballer Bert Trautmann, is out in UK cinemas now. The story chronicles how Trautmann, a German PoW, stayed on in Britain after the second world war, played for Manchester City from 1949 to 1964, and in the victorious 1956 FA Cup final became a legend for playing with a broken neck! Hhush client Freya Mavor stars as his love interest in the film.

Ghosts is a brilliant new comedy which aired on BBC One in April, written by and starring our wonderful MATHEW BAYNTON and the rest of the team behind the beloved multi-award-winning shows Horrible Histories and Yonderland.

Ghosts is a six-part series about Alison and Mike, a couple who unwittingly inherit both a dilapidated haunted house and the dead residents it left behind, who are horrified to learn they may soon be evicted. The former 'inhabitants' of Button House are all still living there, and they're not fans of the couple’s plans to convert it into a hotel.

Apple TV is expanding its slate and this time it's with Dockers on board! Michelle has signed on to star opposite Chris Evans in a 8 episode series called Defending Jacob. The series is based on the 2012 best-selling novel of the same name by William Landay. It tells the story of a married couple whose 14 year old son Jacob ( played by Jaeden Martell) is accused of murder. No news of an air date yet so keep your eyes peeled.

The Good Fight starring Rose Leslie has returned for its third season. The Good Fight is a spin-off of CBS' Ridley Scott-produced, multi award-winning hit television series The Good Wife, which ran for seven seasons from 2009 - 2016. Catchup in the UK on More 4 now and watch new episodes weekly on Thursdays at 9PM. 

Norma Jeane Baker of Troy, starring Ben Whishaw, is a new spoken and sung performance piece by poet Anne Carson. The show, which is performed alongside soprano Renée Fleming opened at New York City's newest arts venue, The Shed, on April 9. The dramatic work was inspired by the #MeToo movement and looks at the lives of Marilyn Monroe and Helen of Troy. You can watch it until May 19.

Death of a Salesman at the Young Vic has been extended for a further two weeks. Directed by Marianne Elliott it features Joseph Mydell as Ben Loman alongside Wendell Pierce and Arinzé Kene. One of the greatest plays of the 20th century, this time it is told from the perspective of an African American family. You can catch it from May 1 - July 13.

The greatest zombie cast ever disassembled!

Huge congratulations to Bertie Carvel on his Tony Award nomination for hard-hitting drama Ink. Directed by Rupert Goold, the play transferred to Broadway after playing in London's Almeida and Duke of Yorks theatres in 2018. Bertie plays iconic media tycoon Rupert Murdock opposite Jonny Lee Miller at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre until July 7. 

Previously nominated for a Tony for Matilda in 2013, this is his second nomination. Good luck Bertie for the awards on June 9!
